Alpine Stir Turtle - Large

This turtle is a result of a VERY failed plate. The original piece was a white snowflake on a blue/white swirled opal background (see last photo).  The glass is called Alpine Stir and is a Fuser's Reserve, meaning that it is limited edition glass and I definitely d wanted to salvage it.  So I took a hammer to it and created this turtle.
 
It measures about 10" x 9" and weighs almost 3 pounds.  It would make a great shelf sitter in a beach house, or a garden ornament.
