Christmas Trees Shelf Sitter

This piece is an example of making broken beautiful -- AGAIN.  The original piece was the trees with trunks that allowed it to stand on its own - I called it a Standy Uppy Thing (if you click through the photos, you'll find one of the original piece).  Well, it got knocked over one day in the Dragons' Lair and three of the four trunks broke off.  I didn't want to scrap the whole piece so I cut off all remnants of the trunks and set the trees aside for another day.  Thanks to the input of a couple of my BandAid Therapy students, I gave the trees a new life. 
 
Still as a standy uppy thing - but this time, a little more steady on its feet. It is 10" long, 5" tall and approximately 2" deep.
